Pro League Relegation Returns to the Mtn Dew League Global Challenge
Teams from Europe and North America will compete in the Pro League relegation at the Mountain Dew League Global Challenge for a spot in Season 8.

In January this year, Pro League relegation took place at LAN for the first time in its history. Combined with the Mountain Dew League Global Challenge the event featured great talents with the ambition to play in the highest and longest running professional CS:GO league in the world, ESL Pro League, and further strengthened the connection between the two leagues.

Today, we are happy to announce the return of the Pro League relegation to the MDL Global Challenge May 9-10. Taking place at the ESL Studios in Leicester, UK, the event will feature four teams from EU and four teams from NA fighting for the available spots in Pro League Season 8.

Whilst the winner of the MDL play-in matches will be directly promoted to Pro League Season 8, second and third place of the MDL season have to go through a double-elimination bracket against 12th & 13th place of the EU Pro League season and 10th & 11th place of the NA season respectively. The full schedule will be released in the coming weeks.

Thanks to our great partners, Intel, betway, Logitech, paysafecard, MSI, MDL, xfinity, Gameflip, ESEA and, of course, Facebook, we will be able to once again deliver you an event packed with CS:GO action.

Be sure to follow ESL CS on Twitter and Facebook for all updates, as well as the ESL Pro League Facebook page for all the upcoming live streams.
